Charlotte Eide
Charlotte is Head of the University of Bergen’s Brussels Office, which supports the university’s strategic engagement with European research and innovation policy. Based in Brussels since 2018, she works closely with EU institutions, university networks, and stakeholders across sectors, with particular focus on Horizon Europe, and European Research and Innovation Policy.
Her work focuses on strategic positioning, policy analysis, and strengthening connections between research, policy, and public affairs. She has extensive experience organising high-level policy dialogues in Brussels. Before joining the University of Bergen, she worked with European research and innovation policy at the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO) in Brussels, representing Norwegian industry interests and engaging with European stakeholders on competitiveness, innovation, and EU policy developments, giving her a cross-sector perspective on European policy.
Additionally, she has been part of the Secretariat of UnILiON since 2021, where she has held several coordination roles, including serving as Deputy Chair of the network.
As Deputy Chair of the Board, she brings this experience to the One Water Alliance, strengthening its engagement across research, policy, and stakeholder communities in Brussels.
